讚美絕配 (compliment 或complement)

 

◎compliment 和complement只差個字母，常被混淆。 

￭ compliment：當名詞和動詞都指 讚美、致意或恭維等。
例句：
My compliments on your new book, I heard it's in the top ten on sale. 
祝賀你的新書，我聽說是十大暢銷書之一。 [這句是恭喜暢銷書作者的]
